In May 1980 it was upgraded to F-4G and moved to the 81st TFS/52nd TFW at Spangdahlem AB, Germany. It stayed at Spangdahlem until 1994 where it also served in the 480th TFS.

In 1994 it moved to the 57th FWW at Nellis AFB.

To AMARC as FP1032 on 26 March 1996.

To Tracor, Mojave, CA. on 1 April 1997. Converted to QF-4G.

To Holloman AFB as QF-4G AF156.

Expended in missile test 19 July 2001.
