Arrived at Leeuwarden AB, The Netherlands, on 11 September 1973 due to runway reconstruction at Soesterberg. Official delivery date according to the AFHRA records is 15 October 1973.

The aircraft was first assigned to the 401st TFW at Torrejon AB, Spain. It was leased to the Imperial Iranian Air Force from September 1971 until January 1973.

Left 32nd on 6 April 1976 to Getafe AB, Spain, for maintenance.

After the maintenance at Getafe to the 36th TFW at Bitburg AB, Germany.

Later moved to the 35th TFW at George AFB where it as upgraded to a F-4G version in August 1979, followed by a stay in the 3rd TFW at Clark AFB, Philippines.

In 1988 it moved to the 37th TFW at Lackland AFB.

In 1991 it moved back to George AFB to serve in the 35th TFW.

To AMARC as FP852 on 22 May 1992.

To TFSI, Mojave, CA on 7 July 1998. To QF-4G drone AF193.

Expended in missile test 26 June 2001.
