29 January 1958 – F-86 Sabre

On 29 January 1956 a F-86K Sabre with serial Q-269 (6A-7) of the Royal Netherlands Air Force blew out a tire while taking of from Soesterberg AB. The F-86K left the runway and ploughed through a grass area. The pilot managed to leave the aircraft unharmed.

The F-86K was not repaired and was written off.
