20 September 1951 – Spitfire RNLAF (H-97)

On 20 September 1951, Spitfire H-97 crashed when the student pilot accidentally turned off the fuel supply.

The aircraft crashed near Soesterberg AB and was fully destroyed.

The instructor was severly wounded and the student was killed.
