Arrived at Soesterberg on 13 June 1980 on its first assignment. Was only for a few months with the 32nd until the unit received its newer FY79 aircraft.

Left the 32nd on an unknown day in November 1980 to the 36th TFW at Bitburg AB, Germany.

Later served with the 60th FS/33rd FW at Eglin AB.

While serving at the 60th FS the nosewheel collapsed during takeoff run at Langley AFB on 17 January 2002. The pilot was not injured. The plane was repaired and continued its duty at Eglin AFB.

Its last assignement was with the 122nd FS/159th FW of the Louisiana ANG at NAS JRB New Orleans.
