Arrived at Soesterberg AB on 23 July 1963 as a temporary assignement. The aircraft flew in grey colors from the 496th FIS.
Left 32nd on 7 November 1963 back to the 496th FIS.
In May 1964 the aircraft went to the 4780th Air Defense Wing at Perrin AFB, TX.
In 1966 to the 115th Fighter Group of the Wisconsin ANG at Truax Field, Madison, WI.
In April 1970 it was ferried to the Strategic Air Command Museum on Offutt AFB, NE. It stayed there until 1997 when it was transported to new museum site in Ashland, NE which was still under construction.
On 16 May 16 1998 it was placed on display as new SAC Museum opened. In 2001 the Museum name changed to Strategic Air and Space Museum. On June 22 2015 the Museum name changed to Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum.
